GH COVID-19 Tracker App Relaunched After Reopening of Air Border

The government on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 relaunched the GH COVID-19 Tracker App.

The relaunch had become necessary because the App had undergone some improvements in features.

According to the Minister of Communications, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the reopening of the Kotoka International Airport as well as the eased COVID-19 restrictions was also a reason for the relaunch of the COVID-19 Tracker App.

The Minister added that the improved features of the App will aid frontline health workers to contact persons with COVID-19, trace suspected cases while helping them to identify COVID-19 hotpots.
