GES Allow 13 Dismissed Students To Sit for WASSCE After Presidential Intervention
The Ghana Education Service in a statement yesterday reversed its decision to ban some thirteen (13) students from continuing in the ongoing WASSCE after gross misconduct which also led to their dismissal.
Some students in a viral video were seen going on rampage destroying school property, accusing their school headmaster of strict invigilation. Another was seen insulting President Akufo Addo after the integrated science paper.
In reaction the GES barred these 13 students from continuing with the exams and further dismissed them from their schools.
However, an intervention from President Akufo Addo has led to a reversal of the decision to bar them from continuing the exams.
GES will allow them to commute to campus to write their exams with the escort of their parents.
