Educationist John Owusu has suggested that to revise the Free Senior High School policy ‘there should be quality control of the policy.
John Owusu explained that there should be a cut-off point for admitting BECE graduates.
Appearing on Wontumi TV Morning Show on Wednesday, he said the cutoff point will shove the students to study hard.
“Lecturers are complaining that the students are not performing when they go to the tertiary,” he noted.
John Owusu further suggested that the policy should be community-based.
According to him, making the free SHS policy a community-based policy will ameliorate the cost of investment.
