Flashback Video: Otumfuor Osei Tutu II Visits John Mahama At His Campaign Office In Accra

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has paid a courtesy call on the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama at his campaign office in Accra.

The Asantehene’s visit to the office of John Dramani Mahama on Friday was ahead of a lecture the king was scheduled to deliver at the University of Professional Studies Accra. 

Former President Mahama who was joined by the National Chairman of the NDC Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and Second Deputy Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin to welcome his guest said the meeting was an opportunity to discuss with the Asantehene a number of critical national issues.

“Otumfuo Asantehene and I have always had a relationship underlined by mutual respect and brotherliness, and it was indeed a great honour to welcome him and his delegation,”.

The Asantehene who spoke through his chief linguist, Baffuor Kantankrankyi said the visit was a routine courtesy call he paid on the former President, who he refers to as his younger brother and friend.
