#Fixthecountry: It’s More Expensive Getting A House In Ghana Than Atlanta – Michael Blackson

In the wake of the a hash tag on twitter that called on leadership to fix the country, Ghanaian-American actor, Michael Blackson has called for affordable housing in the country.

According to him, it costs more to get a house in Ghana than Atlanta in the US although average salary is lesser here.

A crackhead on the street in US, he said, earns more than the average Ghanaian, he noted.

“Houses in Ghana costs more than Atlanta but average income is less than what a crackhead gets on the street,” his tweet read.

According to Michael Blackson, the problem of Ghana cuts across the African continent hence the recent campaign must be a wake-up call to all African leaders to ensure they provide the best education, healthcare, jobs, and affordable housing for the less fortunate.
