Fireworks In Court Today As Tsatsu Tsikata Clashed With Godfred Dame Over Amewu Ex-parte Injunction

There was an unexpected showdown in Court today as two fine legal brains Clashed in court today.

This was a brief melee between the highly distinguished Tsatsu Tsikata and the young and astute Lawyer Godfred Yeboah Dame, a deputy Attorney General.

This was after the the Supreme Court was petitioned by the State acting through the Attorney General to reconsider the earlier time it had set to rule on an ex-parte Injunction application brought before it by some individuals against the declaration of John Peter Amewu as MP for Hohoe.

The A-G therefore filed an application for abridgment of time which has now brought the case forward to January 4th, 2021.

Though the application by the AG was an ex-parte application, Learned counsel Tsatsu Tsikata appeared in the interest of the clients who filed the Injunction application and was heard by the court.
