The Premises of Angel TV, a subsidiary of the Angel Broadcasting Network, belonging to business mogul, Dr. Kwaku Oteng caught fire yesterday afternoon.
The fire reportedly swept through one of the station’s control rooms and its MCR, until it was doused by personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service.
Meanwhile, a former employee of the Network, Captain Smart has insisted that his suspension and subsequent exit from the Network was politically motivated.
Narrating the sequence of events that led to his exit from ABN, Captain Smart claimed that his former boss, Dr. Kwaku Oteng personally told him that he was being pressured by elements from the government to take him off air.
