The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has asked the Electoral Commission (EC) to extend the voting period in some polling stations.
This according to them is to make up for lapses in some areas where voting didn’t begin as advertised.
In a press conference at the party’s headquarters, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah urged the EC to therefore compensate voters with an extension so no voter is disenfranchised.
Voting is still ongoing across all polling centers and is expected to end at 5pm for counting to begin.
