Even Busy NPP Has A Manifesto; Akufo Addo Teases NDC

Flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo has admonished the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for a lack of message and manifesto ahead of the December polls.

Speaking on Takoradi-based Skyy Power FM, the President of the Republic said he could not fathom how the NDC after four years of staying home, remain unable to draft a manifesto for this year’s elections.

According to him, it is a clear indication that the NPP is serious and prepared to govern Ghana than the NDC.

“Up to now; four years in opposition, no message, no manifesto. NPP, people who are in government, we are very busy but we have been able to settle on our ticket and we have been able to on Saturday have our manifesto for the country,” the President stated.

“I think it tells you about the seriousness of the two parties; who is ready to act and who is going to need a lot of help before it will be able to make progress,” he added.
