English Speaking Countries To Declare Mandatory Holiday Following Queen Elizabeth II’s Death

A historian, Nana Obiri Boahen has affirmed that Ghana and other English-speaking countries might declare a mandatory holiday during Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

Nana Obiri Boahen said the English-speaking countries will declare the holiday to show a sign of respect to the late UK monarch.

Speaking on Wontumi TV, the former NPP Deputy General Secretary said, the Queen’s death is a big loss to Commonwealth countries.

“England has dominated the world for over 400-500 years that’s why they say God save the Queen,” he said.
