Election 2020: NDC Wants Peace; Ghana Is All We Have – Mahama

National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama has insisted that his party is working towards peace in the December 2020 polls.

Addressing the Prampram Mantse, Nene Tetteh Waka III, at his palace on Wednesday, the former president pledged that the NDC is committed to peace and will ensure that Ghana does not toe the line of other countries which have had civil wars.

“We are working towards peaceful elections. We believe that Ghana is the only country that we have. We cannot afford to go the way some nations have taken; where there are civil wars and political disturbances. All of us want to stay in peace and safety in Ghana,” he said.
