An alleged registration of a Voters ID card with false information by an NDC’s parliamentary candidate has led to the revocation of his ID card by the Electoral Commission.
Hon. Kwamena Mintah Nyarku the Member of Parliament aspirant for Cape Coast North was said to have given false information when registering for his new Voters ID card and as a result led to the withdrawal of he card by the commission.
Meanwhile, this means that Mr. Nyarku perhaps would not be able to contest in the 2020 General parliamentary Elections as he might not possess the Voters ID card when nominations are called for.
The upcoming lawmaker is however allowed to seek for legal redress in the High Court.
