The Electoral Commission has called on the media to stop the use of an old logo they discarded about two years ago.
In a press release signed by its Acting Director of Public Affairs Mrs. Sylvia Annoh, the statement described the current logo of the Commission with an attached image of how the “original” one looks like to drum home the EC’s point.
“This comes to inform you that on Tuesday 4th December 2018, the Commission unanimously decided to revert to the original logo of the institution.
The original logo reflects the Coat of Arms of Ghana with a ballot box at the centre. It also depicts a hand casting its vote,” the staement read.
