Dr. Kofi Amoah, Ghanaian business mogul says the government must create jobs for the country’s teeming youth if it wants to cut down on borrowing.
Mr Amoah, who has been on a campaign against reckless borrowing says Ghana is blessed with fertile lands and youth who are willing to work, yet successive governments have failed to create jobs for them.
According to him, of jobs are created the country will export more than import; thereby making it possible for it to pay for many of the things it’ll need.
“We need to create jobs for the young men and women who are seeking for jobs. The government must invest in creating jobs and if these jobs are created, we can grow the things we import and export the excesses. If our exports are more, we can pay for the things we need to avoid borrowing so that Ghana can have a robust economy”.
