Metro TV Newscaster, Bridget Otoo has told the management of TV3 Ghana to stand by their presenter, Johnnie Hughes against the alleged intimidation by NPP elements who have accused the journalist of bias and unprofessionalism.
There have been reports that the NPP has notified TV3 of their intention to boycott the Station’s political affairs program.
According to the reports, the NPP decided to take this step citing consistent bias posture and unprofessional conduct by Host Johnnie Hughes.
Even though independent checks with the leadership of the NPP communications directorate have revealed that the reports of an NPP boycott are untrue, Bridget Otoo has waded into the matter.
Bridget, a self-proclaimed NDC supporter, has pleaded with TV3 to stand by their presenter against the alleged intimidation by NPP.
Bridget, a former staff of TV3 recounted how she was hounded out of the station in 2016 after sharing an unpopular opinion about some issues of national concern.
