Domelovo Has Not Been Fired, Akufo Addo Has No Plans To Sack Him – Oppong Nkrumah

Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has stated that Auditor General Daniel Domelovo has not been sacked by President Akufo Addo.

According to him, the Presidents directive only entreats him to go for his 167 days leave which he will resume work after completion. He explained that the President has no intention to fire the Auditor General.

Speaking to Serwaa Amihere on GhOne TV Oppong Nkrumah said, “Domelovo has not been fired,” adding, Akufo-Addo has not fired him.”

The Auditor General was directed by the President to proceed on an accumulated leave of 167 days.

This directive have received wide condemnations from various groups with calls for him to be called back to work. However, little have these calls and condemnations done to make the President rescind his decision.
