Vice-presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has wondered whether President Akufo-Addo believes all roads in the country have been asphalted.
According to Naana, her journey to several communities have been an eye opener because she has seen that the way to some places in the country is only by okada (motorbikes).
He called on the president and the New Patriotic Party to rethink their stance on okada legalisation as they serve a good purpose for some people whose places cannot be accessed with vehicles.
She quizzed, “I drive on asphalted roads to my house. So does the president. But does he think everybody drives on asphalted roads?”
