Develop The Mindset Of Possibilities – Bawumia Tells Party Supporters

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Vice President of Ghana, has urged Ghanaians to adopt a mindset of possibilities, emphasizing the “can-do” spirit essential for leading Ghana towards economic development.

Criticizing the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for dismissing NPP’s innovations only to later claim ownership, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the successes of initiatives like Free SHS, drone medicine delivery, and One District One Factory.

Addressing the crowd at the Mega Ofie Walk organized by Akuapim North parliamentary candidate Samuel Awuku, Dr. Bawumia outlined plans for reducing energy costs by adding 2000 megawatts of solar power, introducing electronic transport systems to lower public transport costs, and leveraging digitalization to train one million youth for employment.

He also promised a new tax policy with a flat rate, a tax amnesty, and simplified passport applications using the Ghana Card. Dr. Bawumia urged Ghanaians to vote for him to ensure eight years of continuous governance for progress.

Samuel Awuku, in his address, emphasized the importance of the 2024 elections as a choice between progress and stagnation, expressing confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s ability to manage the economy and bring about economic recovery.

The event saw the attendance of notable personalities, including NPP National Chairman Stephen Ayesu Ntim, Eastern Region NPP Chairman Jeff Konadu, Eastern Regional Minister Seth Acheampong, National Women’s Organiser Kate Gyamfua, and several parliamentary candidates.
