Details Of How A Baby Was Buried Deep Under Heap of Sand By A Truck Driver

A one and half year old toddler on October 13, 2021 sadly lost his life under tragic circumstances at Awutu Ahuntem near Bawjiase in the Central Region.

According to reports, the toddlers father had requested for sand to be offloaded on his site. The father upon the arrival of the truck driver directed him to where exactly he was supposed to offload the sand.

Unknowing to him, his one and half year old child had been following him and he had no idea about it.

The truck driver, for the same reason, went ahead to offload the sand which trapped the baby and eventually killed him.

The report further said the distraught daddy who could not find his son mounted a thorough search for him.

After several efforts, he dug the heap of sand together with some area boys and eventually found his baby buried deep under.

The case has since been reported at the Awutu Bawjiase Police Station where an investigation is expected to commence.
