Details: How ‘Innocent’ Shatta Wale Took Responsibility Of ‘Fake Gun Shot’ For The Sake Of His Personal Assistant

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale had no role in the fake gunshot claim that got him arrested and remanded in police custody.

According to political activist Kwame A-Plus, Shatta Wale had no knowledge of the post that claimed he had been shot by gun men and was in critical condition.

A-Plus disclosed that some big shots in the country after the incident, called the dancehall artiste on phone to stay away from the however, he sacrificed his life and got involved in order to save his personal assistant Kojo Owusu Koranteng (Nana Dope) who made the post.

Shatta was arrested on October 19, 2021.

He, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge of the publication of false news and causing fear and panic.

His accomplices, Kojo Owusu Koranteng, Idris Yusif, and Eric Venator have also been charged for abetment of crime.

They are expected to appear in court on November 9th 2021 after being granted GHS100,000 bail.
