Cristiano Ronaldo Earns Over £388,000 From Fake Followers On Every Single Instagram Post

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United superstar, has extended his lead as the most well-paid footballer on Instagram.

The Portuguese captain just topped 400 million Instagram followers, a milestone that no other athlete has achieved.

Over the last three months, Ronaldo has attracted over 163 million Instagram followers, and he was making £1.7 million every sponsored Instagram post.

And now, according to the Sun, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has achieved yet another achievement, this time by allegedly earning an incredible £388,000 every sponsored Instagram post from bogus Instagram followers.

According to a new study undertaken by livefootballtickets, Ronaldo has the most phony Instagram followers, with almost 90 million false profiles among his 400 million followers.

The data was analyzed using the Instagram credibility tool grin.co to determine that Ronaldo’s latest source of income was the proliferation of bot accounts on social media.

Ronaldo already earns £1.69 million each sponsored post, and now since 92 million of his followers are fraudulent owing to bot accounts, he will earn £388,000 per post from the fake followers.

Lionel Messi is the player with the second-highest number of phony Instagram followers, with an estimated 287, 210 fake followers each post. Neymar, the Brazilian playmaker, is ranked third on the list of phony followers.
