Covid-19: Stop Priding In Recoveries When WHO Says There’ll Be Permanent Organ Damage After Recovery – Kwesi Pratt to Gov’t

Editor in Chief of the Insight Newspaper, Kwesi Pratt has told government to stop making boast of recovered Covid-19 patients when science says there is likely to be permanent organ damage after recovery.

Ghana’s active case currently stands at 3,716 after a discharge/recovery of 21,397 patients.

Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo, Kwesi Pratt said there is no need to take pride in the number of recoveries as the World Health Organisation warned that there’ll be  permanent damage to the organs of the recovered persons.

“The World Health Organization tells us that for a lot of the people who recover, they’ll permanent get damage to their organs for the rest of their lives. So, the people who have been declared recovered, a lot of them will have permanent damage to their organs. It’s not that easy at all. So, we should stop boasting about recoveries,” he said.
