Covid-19: If NDC Were In Power Ghana Would Have Been Buried By Now – Akufo-Addo
President Akufo-Addo has said the economy would have been on its knees by now if the opposition NDC were still in power in these times of Covid-19.
Speaking on Peace FM he said his assessment of the economy since he took over in 2016 does not show that his predecessor had the capacity to surmount the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“So if those responsible for the 3.4% rate of growth and for the inflationary pressures that were so evident in Ghana at the time… if they were those in government when Covid-19 virus broke out, we would have buried the country. We would be buried by now. All of us… RIP,” he said on Accra-based Peace FM on Thursday.
