Covid-19: Gov’t Extends Incentive Package For Health Workers

As part of measures put in place to reduce the spread of Covid-19, President Nana Akuffo-Addo has announced extension of incentive package for health workers.

Per the extension of the incentive, all health workers will pay no income taxes for the month of October, November and December.

Again, all frontline health workers, as defined by the Ministry of Health, will continue to receive the additional allowance of fifty percent (50%) of their basic salary per month, for the months of October, November and December.

This was revealed by President Nana Akuffo Addo in his update number nineteen on measures taken by his government to reduce the spread of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic.
