The Police have secured an injunction against the #FixThe Country Movement demonstrated which was scheduled to take place on Saturday June 4.
On June 1, 2022, the Police filed a Motion on Notice at the High Court to restrain or prohibit the organisers of their intended armed demonstration.
“After hearing of the application, the court granted an order to restrain the organizers, their agents, assigns and whoever is claiming through them from embarking on the armed demonstration as had been intended,” a statement issued by the Police on Friday June 3 said.
