In a documentary termed ‘Corona Quacks’, renowned Ghanaian investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, has unmasked two ‘fake’ drugs which were marketed as cures for the corona virus.
Anas in this exposé revealed that, popular immune booster/food supplement COA FS had been marketed and sold to him as a cure for the coronavirus, something the FDA has debunked.
Other quacks unmasked were the ‘Abdullah Brothers’ who were also caught on camera selling some unwholesome concoction they call ‘Covid Cure 1’.
The ‘Corona Quacks’ documentary is the latest piece by Anas aimed to expose people who are taking undue advantage of the novel coronavirus to enrich themselves at the detriment of the masses in Africa. It’s a two part documentary produced by the BBC’s Africa Eye in collaboration with Tiger Eye PI.
