CHRAJ Responds To Petition To Investigate Akufo-Addo Over Serwaa Broni Allegations

The Commission for Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) has responded to a petition brought before it by the Alliance for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA) in the matter of the infamous allegations made against President Akufo-Addo by a Canada-based Ghanaian woman, Serwaa Broni.

CHRAJ, in its brief response to ASEPA’s petition noted that the Commission is giving the said petition the necessary attention.

ASEPA, in its petition, is asking CHRAJ to probe President Akufo-Addo in respect of the disclosures made against him by Madam Serwaa Broni in an interview with Kevin Taylor on Loudsilence Media a few weeks ago.

Madam Broni alleged among others that the President used the National Security to stage a robbery attempt on her in order to retrieve some so-called private information she claims to have had on the President.

ASEPA boss, Mensah Thompson, while sharing CHRAJ’s response on Facebook, called on human rights group to lend support in seeking justice for Madam Serwaa Broni.
