Chief Imam Painfully Wept Because of John Mahama And The NDC – Wontumi Reveals

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako has claimed that the Ashanti Regional Chief Imam, Sheikh Abdul Mumin Haroun wept on the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama because of some promises he made for the Muslim community.

Speaking on the Wontumi Morning Show, Mr Boasiako also called Chairman Wontumi noted that the Chief Imam was unhappy about a pledge by the former president and the NDC to build morgues to preserve the bodies of Muslim corpses.

To him, there are more priorities for the Muslim and Zongo communities than a mosque.

“Yesterday, when the Chief Imam spoke, he cried. He was crying because of what John Mahama thinks about the Zongos and Muslim communities. For him to cry, it represents a curse on John Mahama. It is like when your own parent weep over you for treating them bad,” Chairman Wontumi said.
