Social commentator, Kwame A-Plus has taken on Manasseh Azure Awuni following the latter’s criticism of Paul Adom-Otchere, Board Chairman for the Ghana Airport Company for spending huge monies on Christmas trees during the festive season.
Manasseh had bemoaned the money involved in procuring the Christmas trees for the Kotoka International Airport and also the role Adom-Otchere played as Board Chairman in the procurement.
Reacting to it, A-Plus questioned why Manasseh has failed to talk about Mensah Otabil, leader of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) following some missing monies that led to the collapse of Capital Bank but is quick to ‘attack’ Paul Adom-Otchere.
“Norrr somebody sent you something about Paul Adom Otchere. Norrr you know something about Zoomlion. You are shamelessly chasing 84 thousand yet It’s been more than 4 years since your pastor took 610 million cedis of taxpayer’s money and chopped it for free; nobody has leaked that to you abi?” A-Plus wrote on Facebook.
“The last time I was on TV with you, you stated clearly that you won’t talk about your pastor because of your relationship with him. You love Ghana so much that you are chasing 84 thousand Ghana cedis but because of your relationship with somebody it’s okay for the country to lose 610 million Ghana cedis,” he added.
In a separate post he wrote “Manasseh is fighting corruption and I support him. I’m only surprised that he has refused to fight or say anything about his pastor who took 610 million cedis, that is 61 trillion old Ghana cedis (More than how much all the OMCs in Ghana owe in taxes) from the poor taxpayers and chopped it free. Then you have people who come and say, Kennedy Agyapong insulted someone but I didn’t say anything so you I’m the same as Manasseh who not saying anything about the money his pastor took.
“Your pastor has chopped more than how much government spends on free SHS in 5 months. You have not said anything but you are talking about 84 thousand. And you have supporters who won’t tell you that you are doing well but the 610 million noh, What’s up? Me I’ll ask you ooo. Bro, ask your pastor say wanna money noh what’s up.”
