Western Regional Secretary for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Charles Bisue and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tarkwa Nsuaem, George Mireku Duker have finally brokered peace after the two traded blows on live radio.
It will be recalled that this portal weeks ago reported that the NPP Regional Secretary for Western Region, Charles Bissue has allegedly inflicted multiple wounds on the hand of the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuem Constituency, George Mireku Duker after the former bit the hand of the latter during an exchange.
According to a report initially filed by MyNewsGh, the unfortunate incident occured at the Kingston Hotel in Takoradi where the Western Regional Executives of the NPP were meeting all the Party’s parliamentary candidates in the Region.
The report further indicated that there was a misunderstanding between the MP and the Regional party executive, but the latter in the raging confusion grabbed the MP’s hand and gave him multiple bites which left him bleeding profusely.
Reports indicate that the two have finally had their differences settled after a a five-member committee set up by the NPP.
Both Bissue and Duker have pledged to have a cordial relationship to work in the interest of the New Patriotic Party.
