It has emerged that the unhealthy and disgraceful physical tussle that ensued in the chamber of parliament yesterday when MPs voted on the controversial e-transactions levy, resulted in the assault of Minister for Youth and Sports, Honorable Mustapha Yusif with a razor blade.
According to MP for Old Tafo, Ekow Vincent Assafuah, who claims to have witnessed the unfortunate incident, an NDC MP inflicted the razor wound on the honorable Minister for Sports, who is also the MP for Yagaba/Kubori.
Parliament, yesterday night degenerated into a disgraceful physical fight when MPs voted for the acceptance or rejection of the controversial e-levy.
The tussle ensued when the minority MPs sought to prevent the 1st deputy speaker, Joe Osei Owusu from leaving his seat as presiding speaker in order to take part in voting.
