Carlos Ahenkorah Admits Touring Some Registration Centers Despite Testing Positive For Covid

Hon Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah has admitted touring some registration centers in his constituency to see how the Voters Card Registration exercise was ongoing despite being positive for the Coronavirus.

Mr. Carlos revealed that, he toured the centers on Tuesday, 2 July, to see how preparations were ongoing in the compilation of the new voters register ahead of the 2020 Elections.

“I decided to see how some of the centers were just operating. So, I stepped out into town a bit. It didn’t mean I couldn’t go out. My test results had shown I was positive a week ago and after one week, my doctors said I could step out,” the Deputy Minister said.
“They [doctors] said I could go out, except that I needed to wear my mask and observe social distancing,” the MP further revealed.

He also said he was very mature and careful about his condition.

Earlier, there were claims in the media about the honorable receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital but he again debunked such rumors and said they were false.
