Captain Smart Strongly Reacts To Fraud Allegations Against Him; Says Government Still Attempting To Silence Him

Broadcaster and journalist, Captain Smart has reacted to the fraud allegations levelled against him.

Speaking on his show on Onua TV on Tuesday, he called on the Minister of Roads, who is orchestrating legal action against him to reach out to him.

He further swore that he can never be stopped by anyone from doing his job; adding that people in the corridors of power are still trying to silence him.

“Nobody should think that I will ever stop talking. I swear to God, nobody should think that you can ever stop me. I’m scared of myself. It’s my right side which is human but my left I don’t even know what it is. Nobody should think that you’ll be able to stop this man filled with the spirit of Kwame Nkrumah.

“I’ve said it before that I died and resurrected thrice. I know myself better than anyone. Don’t dare joke with me. They’ve tried me spiritually but it never worked and they are now doing it physically but it will never work. No matter what they do, we will put this country on the right path ,“ he said.

This comes after Roads and Highways Minister, Kwesi Amoako Attah lodged a complaint to the investigative body claiming a woman had alleged that Captain Smart had tricked her into parting GH₵25,000.00, which he promised, was to be used to influence the Roads and Highways Minister to take a certain decision in her favour concerning a building project.

Mr. Amoako Atta, through his lawyer, in a letter dated Monday, August 23, 2021, and addressed to the CID, Police Headquarters, urged the investigative body to cause a full-blown investigation into the allegation made by the woman. The audio clip of the woman’s submission on Net 2 TV was attached to the attention of the police.
