Lawyers for rapper, Medikal have resigned from helping him get justice in court following his gun wielding incident.
In court today, Medikal who had earlier pleaded not guilty changed his stance to guilty.
This admission, according to angelfm court correspondent, shocked lawyers of the ‘Omo Ada’ hitmaker who were visibly fumed.
According to the correspondent, the lawyers were astonished that Medikal failed to speak to them over his decision to admit to being guilty.
They believe Medikal disregarded them and have with immediate effect resigned from helping him further his case in court.
Medikal was convicted after he openly told the court he wants to change his not guilty plea to guilty.
His plea was retaken and he admitted the offence.
The Court presided over by His Honour Emmanuel Essandoh has stood the case down for sentencing.
On January 25, 2022 Medikal asked the Circuit Court in Accra to order the police to release his gun to him.
