Both NDC And EC Have No Option But To Work Together – Dr. Adu Gyamfi

Head of the Political Science Department at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Dr Samuel Adu-Gyamfi says both the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Electoral Commission have no other option than working together.

His comments come after the NDC boycotted the Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting last week.

He however noted that the EC must provide a listening ear to political parties to achieve an outcome of what they both want.

“The NDC has no option but to work with the EC, the EC has no option but to work with the NDC,” Dr Adu-Gyamfi said on the Key Points on TV3 Saturday April 24.

“There should be that basis of rapport between the parties and the EC, they should be seen to be working together to build our democracy. The NDC must be seen to be working closely with the EC to give us the outcome that we want.

“The Commission must have a listening ear, must err on the side of caution than being haste in doing things.”
