Behavior Of Akufo-Addo’s Administration Mimics That Of Brutal Dictatorship – Mahama

Former President John Dramani Mahama has slammed the Akufo-Addo administration’s handling of the country’s issues.

“There is a deliberate effort by Nana Akufo-Addo to roll back the democratic regime we have won as a country,” Mr Mahama believes.

He went on to say that “the current administration’s behavior resembles that of a ruthless dictatorship.”

On Friday, March 29, at the 4th summit of the NDC Professionals Forum in Kumasi, the 2020 presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) expressed these things.

Mr Mahama challenged the government to prove his accusation of theft of Covid-19 funding by allowing an impartial forensic audit of how the funds were spent.

During a lecture at Harvard Business School, he accused the government of diverting funds, saying, “…to make matters worse, a pandemic windfall in excess of Ghs33 billion which could’ve cushioned the economy remains unedited and it is believed to have been used largely in a quest to win election 2020 at all costs.”

“The only way you can prove me incorrect and say that money wasn’t used for election 2020 is to allow an independent forensic audit into how the money was spent,” he continued.
