Bawumia Has Been Honoured Enough; Choosing Him Over Alan A Sign Of Ungratefulness – NPP Told

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has been told to make trade minister, Alan Kyeremanten the next flagbearer of the party.

According to NPP activist, Abraham Boadi, the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who has been strongly tipped to replace his boss, Akufo-Addo has been honoured enough in the party.

Speaking on Happy FM, Mr Boadi said Bawumia has served as the second gentleman of the NPP from opposition to power and it’ll be an act of ungratefulness to shun Alan.

He explained that the NPP must follow its principles and reward Alan for all his hardwork and service to the party.

“If he doesn’t become flagbearer then it means the NPP has become ungrateful. I believe the principles of the party must be applied. I supported Nana based on the fact that he had suffered for the party. President Kufuor recognized his mates he suffered with in the party and that is why he named Nana, Alan and others.
