Bawumia Confirms He’ll Contest As Flagbearer of The NPP In 2024
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will contest as flagbearer for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2024 in a bid to succeed his boss, President Akufo-Addo.
This was made known by his chief of staff, Fred Oware on Citi TV.
“When the time comes, yes, he will contest…It is in the papers that he is one of the front runners, but it is a bit premature. When the time comes, he will make public whatever his intents are…” he said.
