Bawumia And Alan Should Have Been Sacked From The NPP By Now – Party Communicator Fumes

A communicator of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Agyei Yeboah has expressed anger over the behaviour of some supporters of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and Trade and Industry Minister, Alan Kyeremanten.

This comes after the supporters of both dignitaries clashed at the funeral of Gabby Otchere-Darko’s father wearing branded t-shirts and cheering on the Vice President while mocking Alan over who becomes the NPP’s flagbearer for the 2024 polls.

Reacting to this on Neat FM, Nana Agyei wondered how the Vice President and Trade minister will be engaged in politics of who becomes flagbvearer while President Akufo-Addo has given them a mandate for the next four years.

According to him, if he had the power, he would have sacked both Bawumia and Alan from the NPP to serve as a deterrent to others.

“I would have sacked Bawumia and Alan by now . . . Ghanaians have given us a four-year mandate and instead of concentrating on that, you’re rather focusing on election 2024 when the party has even spoken against that . . . If I were Akufo-Addo I would have fired them to serve as a deterrent,” he was quoted by peacefmonline.
