Bagbin Swears In Asiedu Nketiah As Member Of Parliamentary Service Board Despite Reservations By NPP

The Speaker of Parliament, Right honourable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin has sworn in Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketiah as member of the Parliamentary service board despite issues raised by leader of government business, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.

Mr Alban Bagbin appointed Mr Asiedu Nketiah, a former MP, and a man with vast political experience to the powerful parliamentary service board.

Asiedu Nketiah’s appointment was met with a lot of criticism especially from the NPP side led by majority leader, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu.

The Suame MP argued that it was not proper for the speaker to appoint a sitting general secretary of a political party to the Parliamentary Service Board, however the Speaker was resolute in his stand.
