Bad Roads: Ambulance Stuck In Mud As Patient Struggles To Survive [Video]

A video that shows how a patient being transported to the hospital in an ambulance became trapped in the mud due to the poor condition of the roads between Adabokrom and Nkrankwanta.

According to sources, the patient, a 21-year-old guy, was being transferred to Sunyani Hospital when the incident occurred, putting him in a dangerous situation.

Around 5:20 p.m., the anonymous patient was referred from the Essam Government Hospital in the Bia West District of the Western North Region for further medical attention due to pneumonia, hypertension, and tuberculosis.

He boarded the ambulance at 8:30 p.m. while on oxygen, but around 9:20 p.m., the ambulance became stopped in the middle of the road.

According to the report, all attempts to push the ambulance out of the mud for more than an hour were ineffective, prompting a distress call to the Bia East team for assistance.

The patient was eventually transferred to the Bia East ambulance, which arrived in Sunyani approximately 12:30 a.m. and is currently responding to treatment.
