The Founder and Leader of the All Peoples Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, has accused the two leading parties, NDC and NPP of constantly engaging in votes buying during election years.
According to Mr. Ayariga, smaller parties like his are struggling to break the duopoly of the NPP and NDC because of the big kitties of these two parties.
“The major political parties go into vote buying. That is the biggest challenge. There is so much vote buying and the vote buying cuts across the political parties leaders,” he said on TV3’s Key Points Show.
He added: “I have seen in my previous party [PNC] that people spent money to occupy position not to work but they use those positions to make money.”
He also slammed the media for not paying the needed attention to minority parties.
