Ghana’s shift towards artificial grass for sports and recreation development has gained momentum. In a significant move, Astro Turf Ghana has partnered with the Northern Development Authority (NDA) to construct a modern artificial pitch in Nanton, Northern Region.
At a sod-cutting ceremony, Hon. NaPaga Suleman Tia,a proud daughter of Nanton and Head of the Special Development Initiatives at the Office of the President, expressed gratitude to the Chief and people of Nanton for their unwavering support. He emphasized her commitment to the developmental agenda of the district, region and country as a whole in the advancement of her work.
The Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Hardy Tuferu who doubles as Deputy Minister for Agriculture commended President Akufo-Addo and the NDA for their visionary initiative.
