Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koko Anyidoho has disclosed that he was embarrassed publicly by the party’s general secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia; a reason why he has vowed not to speak publicly for the party again.
Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ Morning Show, Koku Anyidoho noted that Asiedu Nketia has stopped him from speaking about the party to the media after he contested him for the General Secretary position and lost.
He noted that Asiedu Nketia once shouted at a reporter who was about to interview him and asked who had sent him (the reporter) to interview Anyidoho; adding that he’s nobody in the party.
“When Ofosu-Ampofo was invited to the CID, I went there in my capacity as a former Deputy General Secretary and in an attempt to correct an erroneous comment the reporter made, Asiedu Nketia screamed, ‘who is asking you to interview Koku Anyidoho, don’t you know he has gone for an election and lost? He is nobody at the party so come and interview me because I am the General Secretary of the party’,” he said as quoted by peacefmonline.
