Asantehene Returns To Rousing Welcome From Chiefs And People Amid Pomp And Pageantry
Following their attendance at the coronation of King Charles III in the United Kingdom, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and his wife, Lady Julia, have returned to Ghana.
The esteemed couple arrived in Ghana on Saturday, May 13 via a Vista jet flight at approximately 5 pm.
Upon their arrival at the Kumasi Airport, they were warmly greeted by an entourage of Chiefs, government officials and general public and presented them with a bouquet of roses as a gesture of welcome.
The Asantehene marked his 73rd Birthday last week, while still in the United Kingdom.
