The National Peace Council has called on the Ghana Policy to as a matter of urgency apprehend the perpetrators of violent crash between the New Patriotic Party and National Democratic Congress in the Odododiodio Constituency.
Some NPP and NPP supporters squared off to a batttle while embarking on a peace walk which led to scores of injury.
Speaking in 3FM, the Executive Secretary of the National Peace Council George Amoh charged the police to bring the perpetrators to book.
“What we must do as a people is to ensure that our institutions are resilient enough to contain anything that will come up. I think we have come of age; we can do that. I will have to encourage our police service to do more, particularly by arresting people who indulged in activities such as what happened over the weekend, but also to update the country on the progress of investigations I think these are critical,” he said.
