Armed Robbers Abandoned Stolen Car In Bush After Being Chased By Community Members

A group of young men suspected of being armed robbers who snatched cars at gunpoint in the Northern Regional Capital of Tamale and its vicinity had a miserable day.

About three days ago, these suspected armed thieves allegedly snatched a Toyota Land Cruiser from its owner in Tamale at gunpoint.

Unfortunately for them, word was sent to various areas that they could use as a transit stop to flee with the stolen vehicle according to the report.

The alleged robbers, who were planning to send the stolen automobile to Togo, were thwarted because many towns along the Karaga-Gushegu road were warned to be on the lookout for them.

Some Tamalgu residents observed the criminals trying to flee to Togo late at night and gave them a fierce chase until the robbers abandoned the car and fled.
