Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has directed that the Health Minister, Kwaku Agyemang Manu apears before Parliament to answer some questions within two hours.
This comes after the minister, who’s also MP for Dormaa Central was nowhere to be found when MP for Sefwi Akontombra Alex Djornobuah Tetteh asked a question on the state of health facilities in Sefwi Akontombra in the Western North Region.
The speaker, who was visibly unhappy about the health minster’s absence called for his appearance with 2 hours.
“I am not going to take that,” he warned.
“I direct that the Minister appears before Parliament within two hours to answer the question. Failing to do so, the necessary consequences will apply.”
