Popular US-based Ghanaian video blogger, Twene Jonas has cautioned President Akufo-Addo to apologize to all teachers as a matter of urgency and increase their salaries.
Jonas made sounded this caution to the President on the back of a statement made by the first gentleman concerning teachers which has drawn much discussion.
President Akufo-Addo in a meeting with some members of teachers unions said that teaching is a sacrificial job everywhere and that nobody teaches and expects to be a billionaire.
This comment has attracted widespread controversy with many arguing that the President has no respect for teachers.
Reacting to this, Ghana’s very own revolutionist, Twene Jonas has blasted Prez Akufo Addo for passing such a loose comment and admonished him to apologize completely to all teachers and increase their salaries immediately.
