‘Anyone Who Donates 100 Cedis To Build A Cathedral Is A Fool And Will Rot In Hell’ – A Plus

Political activist, Kwame A Plus has rejected the government’s decision to solicit funds from the general public to build the proposed National Cathedral.

Just like many well-meaning Ghanaians, A Plus cannot understand why despite the myriad of challenges facing the country, the government is more concerned with building a place of religious worship.

Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta in his mid-year budget review yesterday, indicated that the government is calling on Ghanaians to make monthly donations of GHS100 and above towards the construction of the National Cathedral.

However, reacting to this on Facebook, A Plus posted some photos of the staff bungalows of Achimota government hospital and juxtaposed it to some animal hospitals overseas to buttress his point that the national cathedral was a misplaced priority.
